Electrical cords are in good condition
First Aid kits are stocked
All employees are wearing proper safety gear
Work areas are free of clutter and debris
Fire exits are correctly marked and visible to everyone
Smoke Detectors are working
Emergency numbers are posted in a common area and legible
Safety warning signs are visible and nothing blocking their view
All cabinets and filing cabinets are secured
Chemicals are stored correctly and safely
Light fixtures are have working bulbs
Proper wast disposal unit for cigarettes
All trash cans should be emptied and clean
Wet floor signs where person is mopping
Eye cleaning stations are working properly
Storage area shelves are not overloading or stacked to high
Local emergency phone numbers are posted and up to date
Cubical walls are secure and undamaged
Stepladders are accessible and in great condition
Stairwells are free of debris and unlocked for easy access
Heater and Air conditioner vents are clean and not blocked by objects
Computers and monitors are hooked up and working correctly
Breaker panel is easily accessed and clearly label to identify each switch
Employees are up to date on current workplace safety issues

The most important thing to remember about office safety checklist is if the information on them is incorrect they aren't really helping. Each day a manager,shift leader,foreman or other designated person should go over the office safety checklist and check off each task. If there is a problem it should be addressed immediately and fixed promptly.
